Local Attractions

Mandurah and the Peel Region is a wonderland for water loving families wanting adventure and to create life long memories.

From awesome surf beaches, to quiet bays, peaceful estuary waterways or lakes featuring extraordinary ancient thrombolite formations (living fossils sheltering in the shallow waters of Lake Clifton), Mandurah’s waterways are also home to over 70 dolphins. Why not take the opportunity to experience our famous locals first hand (bring your own boat, hire a boat, charter boat, or take a tour with a local cruise operator).

Mandurah boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in Western Australia. Whether your love is surfing, picnicking in a protected bay, or 4WDing along the coastline, Mandurah has a beach for you.

Crabbing is a local tradition. Access to our beautiful estuary is as easy as a walk through the park with your crab scoop and a bucket or if netting crabs is more you style, boat ramps are only minutes away.

For fishing enthusiasts, the Bouvard and Novara boat ramps are only minutes away, giving you quick and easy access through the Dawesville Channel for deep sea fishing or explore the estuary waterways to catch a Bream and soak up the ambience.

Mandurah is also home to a variety of high quality food and beverage outlets, tour companies, and Aboriginal cultural experiences.
